As Fall quickly approaches I wanted to share an amazing themed wedding celebration, for any brides out there looking do something different. Tlaquepaque was honored to have had a Dia de Los Muertos vow renewal and celebration. It was designed and set up by Events by Show Stoppers, very talented florists/ designers here in Sedona, AZ. The event was photographed by Sierra Blanco Photography, an award winning husband and wife team.
Jim and Ken of Events by Show Stoppers captured the ethnicity of the event. They brought to life the romance, sexy and edginess of this Dia de Los Muertos themed celebration.
The bride was transformed onto a stunning Frida Kahlo inspired bride- complete with a stunning floral headpiece. The groom was dressed in all black complete with a black top hat.
The Chapel was decorated with beautiful color ribbons and Mexican paper flowers with an abundance of candles lit up to set the mood. Beautiful red rose petals strewn across the tile floor created the aisle runner in the Chapel. Tlaquepaque grounds were transformed into a Dia de Los Muertos Village. All the fountains had breathtaking decor with beautiful Catrinas all around. There were plenty of altars called Ofrendas throughout the property so people could gather to leave tokens, pray and remember the loved ones that have died and celebrate them.
