Tlaquepaque was excited to host five weddings during the second weekend in October. As you might image, October is a very popular month to hold a wedding here in Sedona. The temperatures during the day are quite pleasant with cooler temperatures at night.

On Saturday, October 10, our Chapel had back to back wedding ceremonies. Amy Foreste and Jeffrey Camp held their wedding ceremony in the Tlaquepaque Chapel. Amy looked stunning as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle to music performed by Brian David. Ila Ross with Ross Wedding Photography took the professional photos of Amy and Foreste. Red Rock Candle and Gift decorated the intimate chapel with lovely candles. The wedding reception was held at Heartline Cafe where guests enjoyed a lovely wedding cake created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts.

Oman Ken and his lovely Harp
Following Amy and Jeffrey, Laura Chambers and Paul Smith III celebrated their wedding ceremony in the Tlaquepaque Chapel with a wedding ceremony performed by Maria Grace. Oman Ken played the harp during the ceremony and Tony Sills was the professional photographer. Flowers were provided by Mountain High Flowers. Laura’s mother lives here in Sedona and we were happy that the Chapel was available for their wedding. We love hosting local weddings here at Tlaquepaque. Guests accompanied the bride and groom to Joey Bistro at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa for the wedding dinner.

On the Patio de las Campanas, Jamie Rae and Billy Stutzer got married at the foot of the Tlaquepaque Bell Tower. It was a clear night while Joel Boyd performed the wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony, the reception was held on the Calle Independencia.

Rosalie’s of Sedona did a great job catering the event. There were professional staff members available to set up the reception under the overhead lights on Tlaquepaque’s Main Street. The food was out of this world.

Music was played by Joe from Ray the DJ and guests danced up a storm. It was a lovely evening here in Sedona. Everyone enjoyed the delicious wedding cake created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts. The lovely flowers were provided by Events by Showstoppers. The colors were perfect!
