Kicking off our Labor Day weekend here in Sedona, Tlaquepaque hosted three weddings over the weekend. The three day holiday invites many visitors to Sedona and allows wedding parties to enjoy extra time with their friends and family.
Sherri Conklin and Kevin Silcox choose Tlaquepaque for their wedding ceremony and reception. The afternoon had been wet and rainy but by 5:00pm the skies cleared up and everything was set for their outdoor wedding. The ceremony was held in the Patio de las Campanas at the foot of the Tlaquepaque Bell Tower on Saturday, September 5. The lovely setting was highlighted by lovely archways covered with ivy below a large Arizona Sycamore tree. Photos were taken by John Ellis and Seth Miller performed the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a lovely reception catered and arranged by Rosalie’s of Sedona. Bonnie Grant and her entire staff did a wonderful job with the wedding set up and special touches offered by her company. The delicious cheese station offered a large variety of specialty cheeses with a selection of crackers and biscuits.
Guests danced and enjoyed the music performed by Elvis Before Noon throughout the evening. Mick from All Out Bartending served beverages and a good time was had by one and all.
On Sunday, September 6 we hosted an intimate Chapel wedding for Megan Asbury and Andrew Schlueter. The ceremony was arranged by Maria Grace with Two Hearts One Life Weddings.
On the Terrace at Patio del Norte, Shira Finkelstein and Jesse Charyn held their wedding ceremony in front of a lovely chuppah designed by Bliss Extraordinary Floral.
The setting above the main fountain in the Patio del Norte was beautiful. Rabbi Glickman from Maui, Hawaii, performed the wedding ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed the wedding reception in our ballroom, La Sala de los Milagros. We were happy to have Bonnie Grant and Rosalie’s of Sedona with us again on Sunday evening. Rosalie’s did a super job with the reception and prepared a delicious dinner. Bobby Russell with Sedona Sounds played the best music and did a great job as MC.
The beautiful and delicious wedding cake was created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts. The entire wedding was captured photographically by Ron and Jenni Goldman, Jenni Goldman Photography. Jenni and Ron always do a super job and they are great to work with.
A special congratulations to Shira and Jesse for their extraordinary Sedona Wedding. They are so lucky to have such wonder friends and family members. We wish them the best of luck.
