The second weekend in June was very exciting here at Tlaquepaque! We were so happy to host three lovely wedding ceremonies and three intimate wedding receptions. We couldn’t be happier.
Rebekah Kothe and James Holloway III spoke their wedding vows on the lovely Patio de las Campanas on Friday, June 12. The special touch to this wedding ceremony was the fact that Rebekah’s father performed the wedding ceremony.
Guests enjoyed lovely violin music performed by the Phoenix String Quartet during the ceremony which took place at 6:00pm. Bliss Extraordinary Floral created the amazing floral archway for the ceremony of Rebekah and James.
Following the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a heavenly reception on the Calle Independencia prepared by Heartline Cafe. Bobby Russell of Sedona Sounds entertained while playing great music throughout the night.
Saturday night, June 13, We were happy to host the wedding ceremony of Devin Tyler and Lee Israel on the Patio de las Campanas. They stood beneath a personalized Chupah decorated with the American Flag and the Union Jack from Great Britain. Karen Lynn, Sedona Wedding Planner, coordinated the event. Following the intimate wedding ceremony on the Patio de las Campanas, guests were accompanied to the wedding reception held on the Calle Independencia. Many personal items were displayed at the wedding reception including a lovely antique dresser that belonged to Devin’s grandmother. DJ Gabriel Brown played musical favorites while Heartline Cafe made preparations for a scrumptious dinner. Amy Mills of Bliss Extraordinary Floral provided the lovely floral arrangements for Devin and Lee. Photos were taken by Jared Platt Photography. The centerpiece of the reception was the wedding cake created by Sedona Cake Couture.
On Sunday, June 14, we were happy to host the marriage of Jennifer Patterson and Alfonso Ballesteros. Laura Lane with Sacred Unions coordinated both the wedding ceremony and spectacular reception. Their wedding ceremony was held in the Tlaquepaque Chapel decorated with lovely flowers provided by Bliss Extraordinary Floral.
Andrew Murphy, Heart of Sedona Weddings, performed the intimate wedding ceremony while Elizabeth Elgin played her lovely harp. Katrina Wallace and Andrew Mejia with Sedona Bride captured the moments photographically thoughout the day.
Following the ceremony, guests accompanied the bridal party to the Calle Independencia for the wedding reception. Rosalie’s of Sedona prepared the food which was delicious and exotic. The amazing four tiered fondant wedding cake was created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts. Donna also made a fun groom’s cake representing the state of Texas. Lisa Miller spinned the best music available throughout the night. Arizona Bartenders were on hand serving drinks and cocktails to the guests. The event was spactacular under the overhead lighting on the Calle Indepencencia. It was truly a memorable wedding for Jennifer and Alfonso and we were pleased to host their wonderful wedding.
