Tlaquepaque hosted four weddings on the final weekend of May. Unusually wet weather has touched upon Sedona during the month of May but we are happy to say that our weddings were very successful in spite of the weather.

Ivy Danner and LeRoi McDonald got married in the Patio de las Campanas in front of 100 of their closest friends and family members. Ivy and LeRoi were so happy to be able to have their wedding ceremony outdoors and waited out the thunderstorms that hit Sedona in the late afternoon on Saturday. Friends and family members assembled in Rene Restaurant prior to the ceremony to enjoy cocktails before the ceremony.

Ivy was busy taking a variety of photographs in the Tlaquepaque village prior to the start of her wedding ceremony. We were so happy that the skies cleared up and the ceremony was able to be held on the outdoor Patio under strings of overhead lights. A dear family friend performed the ceremony for Ivy and LeRoi. Photographs of the wedding were taken by Nelson’s Weddings. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an exciting reception catered by Heartline Cafe in the ballroom, La Sala de los Milagros. The cake was created by Donna Joy with Sedona Sweet Arts.
