In spite of scattered thunderstorms in Sedona over the Memorial Day Weekend, Tlaquepaque hosted four successful weddings. We also had a number of bridal couples taking photographs throughout the village – there was a bride in every courtyard!
Jennifer Merril and Jamal Fagan held their wedding ceremony in the Tlaquepaque Chapel. The event was planned by Karen Lynn, Sedona Wedding Planner. The ceremony was followed by their intimate reception on the Patio de las Campanas. The floral was arranged by Events by Showstoppers and they were lovely. Catering was done by Cucina Rustica and the cake was provided by Sedona Cake Couture. Photography was provided by Cameron Clark and Jamelle Kelly. In spite of the wet weather, a good time was enjoyed by all.
Elizabeth Morgan and Jason McGarraugh from the great state of Texas planned on having an intimate outdoor ceremony on the Terrace at Patio del Norte. Due to the rain we experienced in the late afternoon, the ceremony was held in the Tlaquepaque Ballroom, La Sala de los Milagros. We were happy that the ceremony went off as planned. Bliss Extraordinary Floral created a lovely archway adorned by beautiful flowers and greenery.
The ceremony was performed by Andrew Murphy with Heart of Sedona Weddings and photography was provided by Michael David with Taltos Productions. Following the ceremony, the wedding party went to Savannahs where an amazing cake created by Sedona Sweet Arts was enjoyed by all.
Later in the evening, Katie Sawyer and Matthew Kingman experienced the Tlaquepaque Chapel for their wedding ceremony. The skies were lovely as the weather began to clear at the start of their ceremony. Pamela Duffy enjoyed Katie and Matthew and their sweet family and followed them throughout the evening for photographs. It was the perfect end to a wonderful wedding day at Tlaquepaque.
Sunday, we were so happy to host the wedding ceremony and reception of Andrea Buteau and Giuseppe Medlin.
Following the chapel ceremony, the bridal party and guests proceeded to the Patio de las Campanas for their wedding reception. Food was provided by Los Abrigados Resort and Spa. The delicious chocolate cake adorned by handmade sugar flowers created by Donna Joy of Sedona Sweet Arts was the centerpiece of the evening.
We are so happy that our weddings went well over the Memorial Day Weekend. We already have a wedding booked for next year’s holiday weekend. Congratulations to all our brides and grooms!
